Per l’anno accademico 2014/2015 l’Accademia organizza i seguenti seminari tenuti da artisti:

Andrea Caretto e Raffaella Spagna 

Francesco Jodice 

Entrambi i seminari sono aperti per un massimo di 25 studenti del I, II e III anno di Pittura e di Nuove tecnologie. Il programma sarà pubblicato in seguito.

Seminario n.1: Andrea Caretto e Raffaella Spagna

Date: mercoledì 25, giovedì 26 e venerdì 27 febbraio 2015

Orario: 8 ore al giorno, 9.30/17.20 con pausa 

Ammissione: studenti del I, II e III anno di Pittura e di Nuove tecnologie fino a un massimo di 25 iscritti. Il seminario si rivolge in particolare agli studenti che stanno lavorando o interessati a lavorare sul tema del giardino dell’Accademia

Frequenza: obbligatoria per gli iscritti;

Andrea Caretto (Torino, 1970) è laureato in Scienze Naturali presso la Facoltà di Scienze M.F.N. dell’Università di Torino. Raffaella Spagna (Rivoli, 1967) è laureata in Architettura indirizzo Urbanistico, presso la Facoltà di Architettura del Politecnico di Torino.. Collaborano stabilmente dal 2002 esponendo presso istituzioni pubbliche e private in Italia e all’estero. Collaborano inoltre con il Centro di Ricerca Interuniversitario IRIS – Istituto di Ricerche Interdisciplinari sulla Sostenibilità dell’Università di Torino e Brescia e con la Facoltà di Scienze della Formazione dell’Università di Torino.

Sono tra i fondatori dell’associazione di artisti Diogene che, tra le varie attività, promuove la residenza internazionale per artisti Diogene Bivaccourbano – www.progettodiogene.eu

Vivono e lavorano a Cambiano (To).

Francesco Jodice è nato a Napoli nel 1967. Vive a Milano. 

La sua ricerca artistica indaga i mutamenti del paesaggio sociale contemporaneo con particolare attenzione ai nuovi fenomeni di antropologia urbana. I suoi progetti mirano alla costruzione di un terreno comune tra arte e geopolitiche proponendo la pratica dell’arte come poetica civile.

È docente di Fotografia presso il master di Cinema & New Media della NABA di Milano e presso il master in Photography and Visual design di Forma, tiene un corso di antropologia urbana visuale presso il Biennio di Arti Visive e Studi Curatoriali della NABA. È stato tra i fondatori dei collettivi Multiplicity e Zapruder.

Ha partecipato a Documenta, alla Biennale di Venezia, alla Biennale di Sao Paulo, alla Triennale dell’ICP di New York e ha esposto alla Tate Modern, al Castello di Rivoli e al Prado.

Tra i progetti principali l’atlante fotografico What We Want, l’archivio di pedinamenti urbani Secret Traces e la trilogia di film sulle nuove forme di urbanesimo Citytellers.
